Stop dosing alk and vitamin C, and do 10% water changes one a week until it comes back to normal. Watch Mg and Ca also.Does V C up Alk levels? My Alk skyrocketed to 14. How can I buffer to make sure it doesn't keep going up?
No, the buffer in the version of vitamin C you are using adds alkalinity. If you are dosing anything for alkalinity, stop. You can also reduce your vitamin c dosing.Does V C up Alk levels? My Alk skyrocketed to 14. How can I buffer to make sure it doesn't keep going up?
