I just received some zoas and they took a couple of days to get here. I acclimated them and when I put them in a brown string came out of one their mouths. It’s day 2 and they’re still close should I be worried?

if you are confident that everything in your tank is up to proper reef standards, then no, you shouldn't worry. Give them time

It was the holiday so shipping was a couple of days but no it was packaged pretty good!
So you’re saying the zoas were in a box being delivered to you for a couple days ?

Did you contact the supplier in case of a refund
