Aptasia?

Anyone have an ID on the other picture above? Those don't look like aptasia... are they are hydroid colony? I think they're more hair-like.

Kinda hard to see. Sorta look like hydroids.

Tried to play with my macro lens... I'll see if I can get some better shots.

So seems like a peppermint shrimp idea is better and better? They also eat hydroids, if I'm googling correctly.

I have never heard of them eating hydroids. I have heard of them eating coral.

Just going by the BRS article on Spooky Reef Pests.

And I've heard mixed reviews of them eating corals... allegedly only eating already dead tissue out of corals.
