hi everyone!
i currently have an aqua-cultured blue spotted jawfish that i’ve had for a while now. he’s my pride and joy. i went by my LFS a couple hours ago and saw a beautiful, vibrant aqua-cultured pearly jawfish. it really caught my eye and i have to hesitantly admit- i almost impulsively bought it since he was only $50. definitely glad i decided to research a bit more first. what do you guys think? my blue spotted is very peaceful and wouldn’t hurt a fly, and keeps to himself. i have a lot of space for burrows in different areas of the tank. my jawfish currently is acclimated to warmer temps (of course since it’s aqua cultured). i’ve heard success stories with this…so, is it a purchase? i really hope so!
thanks! :)

Only one way to find out. How easy is it to catch fish in your setup?

How big is your tank? Unless it’s 100+ gallons I would say absolutely not. They get very defensive of burrows and having multiple unless a bonded pair is usually a bad idea.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
