I can’t get a clean sand bed! Most of the debree on the bottom is algae. My tank is 35g and I have snails, hermit crabs, and one emerald crab. What can I get that will keep my sand bed free of algae? (Sugar fine btw)

I use a Plastic Baster, put a plastic hose clamp on it, for more blasting force. Also I don’t like a fine sand bed, prefer a mixed media bed, from Sugar Sand to ARM Gravel, and Shell Rubble, for a good Pod population. Helps keep the Sand Bed clean and alive.
