I’ve had this coral for over a year and it’s never done this. It’s honestly never done anything until last night. I’ve seen coral exoskeletons before and this looks different. Is this a good thing or bad? All my parameters are fine. Ph, calcium, magnesium and kh. Only new thing is that I’ve been dosing trace elements the last two weeks.

I killed a bunch of stuff with trace elements.
Now add nothing but Alk,CA and MG.
Pics not clear enough for me.

Yeah I’ve never had to dose trace elements before in my Jbj 65 but my Corals are eating nitrates faster then they are building up. So I haven’t don’t a water change in a few months and I have a decent bit of Corals so I wanted to make sure they got everything the needed besides the calcium, magnesium and kh

But I’ve also never seen this coral grow before. It’s been the same size since I got it. So I didn’t know if this is a growing sign or dying sign. I’ll see if I can get a better picture later. I believe it’s a type of brain coral if I’m not mistaken.
