Some emeralds are peaceful, some are evil. You got evil ones, sorry! Best to take them out. Get some porcelain or pom pom crabs instead.

25 mollies to cycle a tank. That's pretty aggressive. I do fishless cycles but if I did use fish it would be a single damsel. Ghost feeding will accomplish the same thing.
After reading everything the LFS recommended for your size tank I would probably look for another store.

I'm still hung up on 25 mollies. Why murder 25 mollies when 1 would have been just as efficient in cycling a tank?
I never do fish in cycle, its cruel

Just curious did all 25 mollies live? You said you were taking them back so im assuming some did. Even at $4 a pop that 100 bones to cycle a tank.

Ammonia a big no no so prob ammonia still high. I have had an emarald crab in my tank for a year with shrimp starfish snails crabs and he never messes with em. Just picks at rocks all the time. Those fish are a bit much for a 60g cube but they small so ok for time being. I would let everything chill for a month.

What are you using for filtration. Protein skimmer? ATS? FUGE? Bioballs? HOB?
