I purchased a leather from a mixed reef tank from a LFS, and after dipping I noticed it is was shared with this mystery coral.

The coral was quite bleached to begin with but has since regained some color.. under blue lights it has green/yellow flesh and has small polyps that cover the surface and are yellow/green in color with a little red. I have no experience with LPS or SPS but I suspect it falls under one of these categories.

Possibly a montipora but you will have to wait for a little while and grow it out before we can tell.

Thanks, I looked up montipora and I can definitely see the resemblance. Will see how it develops, thanks!
