Is iron high or something....a lot of green that shouldn't be green
Okay, here’s the breakout. Yes, the added blue filter made a big difference. This is a Green Flash using the different filters or combinations. More blue filters results in more green appearance as the blue is blocked. The porthole I got has a blue filter on it and I also used the Orphek 20k and 15k filters. That’s probably why there is a more green appearance because the blue is really blocked.
Overflow is a little broken at the moment lolGot some great coral this sale!!!
Sounds like someone is using a vase in the background

@CodyBot knows a good bit about cameras and lensesThe Orphek 15k by itself is the closest, but even that is not pure. Naked eye, top down, the tips have lots of purple and the greens and yellow are more crisp. Polyps are a burgandy brown. Wish I could find a camera that could show that without spending $15,000 dollars.
Edit: Older polyps are light green and on the tips they appear a light burgandy brown inside the purple tips.

I’ll retake all the pictures tomorrow with just the 15k filter and the porthole without its filter. The porthole really helps removing the glare from the lights and is making a big difference. Seems to keep my iPhone from going stupid under the lights. That one looked the best to me too.
Just take a raw photo and use lightroom. With enough time you can find the right blend, and only gota shoot once. A DSLR may help because you can set your white balance by putting a white piece of plastic in the tank and taking a pic.The Orphek 15k by itself is the closest, but even that is not pure. Agree. That’s what I’m trying to avoid.Still seems really edited. I guess the s21 just had the right stuff going on out of the box
What kind of filter is in the pothole?I’ll retake all the pictures tomorrow with just the 15k filter and the porthole without its filter. The porthole really helps removing the glare from the lights and is making a big difference. Seems to keep my iPhone from going stupid under the lights.
Because it's not a raw photo. If you play with the sliders on a raw photo you can get it looking right without the edited look. Non-raw will always look edited, because it is an editStill seems really edited. I guess the s21 just had the right stuff going on out of the box
Fairly thick (3/32”) yellow filter. It fits in the bottom of the tube. Easy to take out. What kind of filter is in the pothole?
