So I updated my Profilux 4 to firmware 7.38 today. However, I’m still being prompted about needing to upgrade due to the myGHL move. Is there something else I need to do?

Thanks,
-Chris

I recall reading that you need to re-boot your router as well. That way it will connect to the new server.

If that doesn’t work raise a ticket at the GHL support.

Hello,

Or maybe just read what's written on the pop-up :)
If you click on the "Learn more" button, the following page opens: https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/knowledge-base/myghl-is-moving/

ProductsWiFi-Firmware Minimal version
GHL Doser 2.2 Standalone
Mitras LX7
ProfiLux 4/4e/IL/IL LAN
ProfiLux Mini-/Light-WiFi
WiFi-module: 7141 (October 2022)
How to update the WiFi module
Device firmware: Not affected

In fact, what most people don't know is that there are 2 firmwares on the ProfiLux 4, the device's main firmware and that of the WiFi module, which handles all communications.

As indicated in the article, updating the device firmware, the one you have updated, has no impact on your current problem (Device firmware: Not affected). It's the WiFi module firmware that you need to update to at least 7141.

The best way to do this is to go to the ProfiLux rescue web interface http://1.2.3.4/update/ (replace 1.2.3.4 with the current ProfiLux ip address visible on the Network page), log in with admin and Starfish (if you haven't changed the password) and load the firmware.bin file, which you can obtain from this zip: https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/downloads/wifi-module-esp-update-beta/
