Vodka dosing is lowering phosphate but not nitrates

Nah, not really but it was someone who seemed really knowledgeable so I decided to try it. I’ve been having dinos on and off for 3 years almost so I’m sick of it.


They are either decreasing or stable. I have atypical dinos; they always came when I had high nutrients. I never had any while my tank was close to 0 phosphate and nitrates.

I’ve had dinos for almost three years so if I wait, it might take a very long time before I do anything. I’m tired of waiting…
Then go slow and pay attention/ test often. Don't bottom out, that will only make things worse.
