So, we purchased this beautiful Longnose Hawk Fish. When we put him in the tank he was perching on rocks, swimming everywhere and eating heartily.

We woke up one morning and he's down on the sand. We thought he was dying but he's been there for a week. He seems all over the bottom but we haven't seen him eat, unless he's eating when we are not around.

He looks healthy and he's alert. Why would he change his habit?

I have one, he does whatever he wants to do. He likes to perch on the sand in my tank as well. But goes nuts for food, so I would keep an eye on him and if he isnt eating maybe post in the diagnoses form
