Branching Hydroids

Hey everyone, I’m all but 100% sure I have branching colonial hydroids on my rock. Whats the best way to get rid of them effectively? I’ve thought about scrubbing what I can but I don’t know if they spread by scrubbing like aiptasia. Does something eat them? Can I scrub them? Thanks!

Yeah, those are hydroids - for removal suggestions:
I've heard smothering the hydroids with kalk paste may work, but here are some other threads with suggestions that might be helpful:

If there's no coral on the rock , I vote get it out of the tank... It belongs in the trash.

Could just glue a encrusting coral ontop of them and they will most likely over tank the hydroids. once you have them you cant really ever get rid of them only out compete them. unless you find a thing that can eat them.
