I assume my 4-year old COR 20 is dead (see pictures)?

After turning the pump off for other maintenance, it would not restart with an overcurrent fault. Upon removing the pump, it appears the casing is cracked with what appears to be corrosion. I soaked it in citric acid to clean any salvageable components, but I am hesitant to try and use the pump.

I guess a 4-year run at 20% speed was good, right?

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
