Ok so my queen trigger has outgrown my 60
Gallon cube…didn’t really take long, lol.

I got a 150 gallon for it to chill by itself for as long as possible…

If I move the mechanical filter, skimmer, live rock and 60 gallons of water to the 150 gallon…will it need to cycle?

that’s a skip cycle if you follow these rules in place:

That’s sixty pages of the exact job you’re describing

Yes clean all the non rock surfaces we don't need their bacteria we just need a cloudless transfer

Moving the rocks over with their bacteria does the skip cycle

Post a pic of your tank let's see the layout

attached is the 60 cube with Idunno maybe 20-30 lbs of LR to be transferred you can see the hob skimmer and mechanical filtration. I also have a 230 gallon with a ton of LR I could use.

The tank in the garage is the new one for the Queen Trigger.

Nice setup! Clean too. That will be a great candidate system for an easy skip cycle move
