Most manufactures put the mix on the bag/container. It's usually displayed as 1 cup or 1/2 cup per gallon. I don't use Instant Ocean, but they dont have this information on the bag/container?

it’s 1/2 cup per gallon. Thats normally my baseline. It changes some based on how long the salts been open etc etc because of moisture.

It says 1/2 cup a gallon but that usually puts it at around 1.023 for me so I always add a little more once it’s mixed

It's a half of a cup because I use this salt and I use 2.5 cups for 5 gallons of water
