So chemiclean. I’ve got some Cyanobacteria that I’m blowing off daily after running reeflux. Should I just continue or just go ahead and run some chemiclean? I was getting the impression that most of you are fans and not too dangerous. Just use recommended dose?

I ran Chemiclean not too long ago. It works fine following the directions, and running open skim. I will say that when the treatment was done, I did a huge water change, put carbon back in, and it did take quite a bit for the tank to get rid of what was left of the treatment. Tank is good, though.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
