Does anyone have much experience with goni's? I bought this frag about 2 weeks ago. It looked great when I first got it. I know they're know to be finicky. Everything else in the tank looks great except for the goni. Oddly the zoas behind them stay closed most of the time too. You can see them in the picture of the goni. The pics aren't the best but here's the goni on day one and today.

The first picture is now and the second was then? Is it possible your damsel picked at it? Looks like some of it receded. How fast has it receded?

Gonis are finicky. They tend to like dirtier water but not nasty. The flow has to be just right and the lighting has to be acceptable.

So I wrote an article. My first article! How exciting. Now just waiting for approval. Unless they deny it and throw it away... That's always a possibility I suppose.

I can summarize. It's very TLDR.

Math, math, don't listen to the experts, more math.

Display LxW surface area divided by Sump LxW equals inches of headspace required in sump per inch of drop in display tank when return pump shuts off.

All good today???
Yes, no more threats since Thursday. The local police and FBI have confirmed its a swatting incident but still havent identified where theyre coming from. Its just weird because usually when stuff like this happens they figure it out quick. But whatever. Thanks for checking in!
