Morning all guess it's my turn.

Unfortunately my hermits had been climbing all over my plate coral. So even though I moved it. It was to late and has been dying since. Hopefully I'll have plate buds maybe.

And good morning all
Is that macro you have in the back left corner?

Good morning Smorgasbord! What is this "snow" yall keep talking about?
Screenshot_20241122_090220_Photos.jpg
A few years ago in a trip to New York I saw snow for the first time but I have never seen snow fall.

Anybody know the best place to get hannas?

Yes, it is hidden by the symphillia a bit.
How the macro algae started

Wow, it has grown a ton! What is it called? I would love to add something like that to my tank.

I thought it was Dragons breath. I soon realized it isn't lol. I really don't know. I'll try and get some close ups for you later today.

Wow!! That symphyllia is a stunner!! I have one that I'm trying to save after it spent a couple 95 degree nights in the ups warehouse. It seems to like lower flow, and eats like a horse!

Those are really nice corals. I tried keeping gonnis, but shrimp and hermits constantly irritated the polyps crawling over them. I even mounted the goni at the top and hermit still knocked it down even though it was glued...

Which powerhead should I consider upgrading too? I feel like I trust Hygger more. But I don't think Hygger has an app.
Hygger amazon
Jebao amazon
I use a Hygger mini and it's worked great on my nano. I have a Jebao DLW-10 which I also really like it was just a bit too powerful for my tank. If I had a tank your size I would be looking at the new Jebao DMP-40.

The Maxi-Jet pump you have is really good at mixing new batches of saltwater.

Interesting... I think I'm going to do the Hygger cross flow, I've heard great things and its controllable too. What do you guys think? But I will look into that Jebao.
