So i turned my whites off on the lighting ramp up and for a couple hours with just 4 hours of white + T5s on during the day, the corals just glow now, mesmerized. Had always basically just done an on and off cycle with whites+blue, maybe a 10k-12k look and really disliked all the pics of blueberry tanks so never tried it. The boring firework polyps are just crazy looking under the blues, old dog learning new tricks I guess (my dog is on the couch watching the dog show)

I always shoot for low white, high blue. I think at max intensity for my tank I run 100% blues, 35% green, 15% red, and 10% white.

I just changed my schedule to this. Whites were ramping up with the blues to 65%, and now they don't and max to 45% for now, might lower this over time. T5s come on from 14:00-16:00 (2x blue plus and 2x actinic)

On the Natura icon I have them in whatever is preset but for now the kessil is all blues. I do prefer some white but while I’m having the dino disagreement, I’ll keep the blues so it’s not as noticeable.

Never played with the lighting really, always had just set it and left it, but these blues are neat. Will still run a few hours of white cause it accents the fish, and the actinic t5s make the fish glow. Dinos are the devil.

On the new tank I've got 4 T5's.
Actinic, 2 blue plus and I replaced the 50/50 reefbrite with a geissman ultra blue, which I used to dislike but I'm really enjoying the blueish hue.

What do you got there Tim?
Turkey breast and pork loin. The pork is done, giving the turkey another 30-45 minutes while the pork rests.

OMG ( that is oh my god for you older reefers) that looks fantastic! What type of wood chips did you use?
