I have a 75gpd brs rodi system in the basement. When I bought the house it tested high for iron, manganese(I think?) and arsenic so the seller installed a dual tank self cleaning water softener system and a new sediment filter. That said, I still feel like my first pre filter in my rodi system gets visibly dirty pretty quick. My iron was super high. I have the test somewhere if it's helpful or relevant. Would it be beneficial to throw a second filter in before my rodi system?

It never hurts to add extra pre filters but you'd want to ensure it's filtering iron because I believe not all filters get iron.

I heard well water in general goes through ro filters and di resin pretty quick anyways so I'll have to buy lots of filters regardless.

Iron and manganese makes for some stained clothes...
It's a really nice system, I plan on replacing all the exposed plumbing in the basement eventually because when I replaced the showing mixing valve the ¾" copper had the same id as ½" copper from all the iron buildup. So i think it's still leeching the copper out and staining a little but nearly as bad

I can relate about the baby thing. I have a1 year old who doesn't sleep longer than an hour or 2 told... today is actually his birthday! It's bad enough we've been referred to try cutting a slight tongue tie in hours maybe that'll help him sleep :sleeping-face: I'd be interested in seeing what you got going on if you did a build thread
happy birthday!

I'd tell him but it's his first birthday l, I'll tell you to what I assume he'd say "eeaaahhhhhh! Dadadada ts ts ts" or something along those lines :face-with-tears-of-joy: :face-with-tears-of-joy:
My daughter's first words were "bop". just over and over "bop".

Frozen? I think that's what I usually get.
Yea, I always see people saying they feed "x" but no one around me carries a good selection. Ecslecially of live food so I would have to order it. Like reef nutrition roe, and I don't want to spend 25$ to overnight a small thing of roe :downcast-face-with-sweat:

I am on well, it’s not to hard but I’m 8 months in and no changes to my filters yet. I’m getting close though Pulling 1 TDS after sediment and then 0 coming out DI.

How hard is your well water? Sorry if I missed it in earlier threads
