Got it. What's your cuc? Besides hermit's?
I don’t have an algae problem so not much but I probably have 15-20 hermits, 1 Mexican turbos snail. 10 astria snails, cleaner shrimp, Halloween hermit crab and probably some other random snails

@cdemoss01

Here is what I would do over the next few days/ weeks and let us know how things go.

First, make sure your tank isn’t getting too much light. So try cutting down the lighting schedule to about 8 hours a day or just remove corals and do a black out.

Next, check your water quality. High nutrients like nitrates and phosphates can make algae grow faster. You can do water changes regularly, about 10-15% once a week, to help reduce those. Also, adding a skimmer can help get rid of organic waste before it turns into nutrients for the algae. Do you have one?

Definitely get more snails and hermits mix

i think manual remove of GHA is very important so you should give that a try

Be patience, you’ll see the algae start to clear up!

Well let's see. Kessils are at 100% intensity. I'll cut lighting down, I'll start mass producing DI water so I can mix saltwater. I've got an icecap skimmer. What do you think about a sea hare and another tux?

I’ve never done a sea hare but I’ve heard they do help. Why not give it a try. I was never able to find one. Tux are good I had 2 in my tank when I had the GHA. Make sure to take them out once it is gone because mine starved

Kent was grumpy after a disagreement with his brother, so I asked if he wanted to help with the saltwater. We added 4 pounds and hit 1.026 SG. Spot on.

Got it. My urchin just goes on the glass. No matter how many times I move him. LFS can't keep a sea hare alive for some reason/can barely order them.

He had 9 total seizures yesterday. The last one was at 11:45 last night. By 7 o'clock this morning when we were leaving for church he was alert and moving around mostly normal but was lethargic. We got home about 30 minutes ago and he has his energy back and is playful and everything.

The one last night lasted about 30 seconds so it was relatively short but it took a lot out of him.

We've added another supplement to help and we're not feeding him dog food anymore (both times were within a day of switching back to dog food from raw).
Oh Tim.
I wish I could give you a hug.
That's all I can say....

I had a pincushion urchin in my old 90 gallon tank. I would put a sheet of kombu algae on the sand under a small rock and the urchin would wrap it around itself, go onto the glass, and slowly feed the whole sheet into its mouth. I would put a second sheet on the sand and my conchs would strip it, leaving a transparent membrane.

Probably can’t keep them alive because it doesn’t have a good food source maybe?
