As long as you acclimated it like you would a fish you should be good.
Got it. Just float for 15 minutes then do a small water change in it's bag wait 8-10 minutes then release?

I live in the south and don’t have palm trees :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

I do, however had a ton of water oaks. My yard is so covered in leaves currently that you step down and sink about six inches before touching dirt lol. Annoying but the tree rats like it.

Acclimating them to temperature for 15 minutes is fine, what I do differently is that I put them in a bowl and I have an accudrip that adds water from the tank little by little so that the change is not abrupt, but you can add water from the tank manually little by little (for example 5ml every 30 seconds or so for 20 or 30 minutes)

All the trash talk about you Southerners, I have to confess that in the early 70’s I was a southerner for a few years but I never posted pictures in the winter of the weather and palm trees on forums that northerners could see! Moved from Florida to Connecticut my brother, sister and I had the full on southern drawl, yall as well. That didn’t play well in school as new kids and we probably set the record for being the quickest at losing an accent.
Glad you enjoyed your time! We don't mind the trash talk. We just turn it into music!
