I like seeing their weather and palm trees! But I LOVE the snow and always look forward to winter. Skiiing, snowmobiling, warm fires, hot chocolate and snowmobile club hosted brat feeds somewhere different every weekend!! Wouldn't give up this snow and cold! I see the downhill ski resort is prepping to start making snow (I can see the slopes from the house). Couple inches of snow expected monday, So it begins! Looks like we finally get some normal cold temps later next week, that will be nice to freeze up the ground for trail grooming, 600 miles of groomed trail here in the county.

You can't have that many feelings left... I know I don't after years of "customer service" type work. Our feelings are too important to allow somebody with no power over us to hurt them.

What's acclimation ??? Lol. I use same water as fish store since I get from them. So temp is similar to. Drop and plop for me lol.

I agree. So many folks drip acclimate without checking salinity first.

Acclimating them to temperature for 15 minutes is fine, what I do differently is that I put them in a bowl and I have an accudrip that adds water from the tank little by little so that the change is not abrupt, but you can add water from the tank manually little by little (for example 5ml every 30 seconds or so for 20 or 30 minutes)

I only acclimate shrimp cuz I haven't bought fish for awhile.
I do the cup of water method but I dump the shrimp in a bucket first.
I've had bad luck with shrimp dying because I keep my salinity so high.
