So you run for 10 hours total right? I will have to see if I can program mine similar to that and see how it goes.
When you make a change in the tank, if it is bad, in the next 3 days you can notice it, I mean in general, not just the gha, that takes longer, but if the change is good you notice it in like 20 or 30 days.

I have the Hydra32 and just run the Saxby setting. Just the times start at 9am

I do have a light on my sump that runs at night. It's one I actually won on here.
It's probably not as bright as your tank lights, and there's probably higher flow in your sump than in your tank.
