Dang, I think @ISpeakForTheSeas and @i cant think remember me and won’t be coming to help, sorry @Nor'easter Reefer .
Haha, I'm coming to help, just running chronically behind these days - it's a Volvarina species of some variety (V. taeniolata being mentioned in the thread linked):
Sorry for the delay in my response - most likely a Volvarina species, but there are hundreds of species in the genus and they're not common in the hobby, so I don't know which specific species you have:
Yeah, the closest snails I know are from the same taxonomic subfamily (Marginellinae) as true Marginella spp. snails - I'd guess a Volvarina sp.; these are still known as "Marginella" or "Margin" shells/snails.
I've heard some are basically herbivores, others may be somewhat predatory, but I'd guess that it's more likely to be an omnivorous scavenger for you (shouldn't eat anything live, but may go for something dying) - so I'd say observe it for issues, but probably expect it to be good CUC.

I'm seeing cyno in my little tank right now.
After I disconnected it from my big tank phosphates and nitrates have now hit bottom.
For me, there's a medium where both seem to even out and good algae outcompetes the cyno.
I ended up running out of the house. The babies bed time turned into nap time and now I'll be up till like midnight.... so we went to get dinner. :grinning-face-with-sweat: i'll post pictures and parameters tomorrow :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Eating vegetarian tonight. Roasted spaghetti squash with pesto sauce and a side of steak (hey, it's a vegetarian and you are what you eat so it's a vegetable, right?)

Also some apple and orange slices.

I have been thinking about a name for him that she would have liked. Do you think she would have liked Charlie?
She would love Charlie and the fact you got it because of her!

Thanks man! The wife likes the zoas so she's gonna have a garden(if she actually gets involved then I'll buy her all the zoas she wants :grinning-face-with-sweat:) might get ahold of cultivated reef for tomorrow :thinking-face:
Yellow zoas give a zoa garden such a nice color pop, imo.
That would be a really cool way to get her involved in the tank. I started with zoas, and now every time, I see a good looking zoa, I buy it, stick it to a rock and throw it in the garden!
