I know, it's terrible. I'd rather they just put sand down and say "if thats not enough, stay off the roads till the storms over"welcome to salting the roads in the north east.

Yes.And i feel like a good, local business, personal accountant is actually trying to do a better job than a H&R block employee who really doesn't care as much
what does turbo tax and the like for online filing do in this case? you can prep it all in advance before you click send right? On average h&r block is more expensive than a personal accountant.
I get service calls to some of the low income housing apartments sometimes.... not all of them are bad, but the ones that ARE bad... are BAD..The worst part believe it or not is how dirty and trashed people's cars are.
Some of them literally made me yack.
Seriously.
And they care if you come back next yearYes.
Perfect statement.
More personable, will ask the questions you NEED them to ask.
yeah, thats why we rust out here. in CA I went to get a new muffler. they said you must be from the northeast. no one here needs to replace mufflers.I know, it's terrible. I'd rather they just put sand down and say "if thats not enough, stay off the roads till the storms over"
I know but my husband is stubborn... and kind of set in his way...On average h&r block is more expensive than a personal accountant.
My buddies dad imported an old truck from Colorado and we were like "why did you order from the north instead of say Nevada or something? It's gonna be rusty" and it showed up perfect. Turns out they just sand they don't salt it's just us that gets this crapyeah, thats why we rust out here. in CA I went to get a new muffler. they said you must be from the northeast. no one here needs to replace mufflers.
Of course.what does turbo tax and the like for online filing do in this case? you can prep it all in advance before you click send right?
No salt in Idaho. My buddies dad imported an old truck from Colorado and we were like "why did you order from the north instead of say Nevada or something? It's gonna be rusty" and it showed up perfect. Turns out they just sand they don't salt it's just us that gets this crap
Never tried it with all the deductions it would be too complicated i thinkwhat does turbo tax and the like for online filing do in this case? you can prep it all in advance before you click send right?
yeah, ive seen the water trucks. what are they spraying on the road? night before storms they used to go out and spray salt water on the road to try and get the ice to melt sooner. such a horrible environment they provide. its why the first few feet off the roads are brown/dead grass. and CA doesn't want to drop and dump saltwater on the fires due to environmental concerns....speaking of which. remember that CSI Vegas episode where they found a scuba diver in a tree after a dessert wildfire? My buddies dad imported an old truck from Colorado and we were like "why did you order from the north instead of say Nevada or something? It's gonna be rusty" and it showed up perfect. Turns out they just sand they don't salt it's just us that gets this crap
Lucky!No salt in Idaho.
Just sand.
I've always liked the idea of a refugium and what it means to the ecosystem.@00W I have 2 of the tunze ecochic refugium lights and a kessil h80, do you think a refugium would be a more natural way to uptake phosphates? Cultivated reef also has chaeto listed on their website sure i could get a deal rock, chaeto, and maybe a zoa with some blue as the wife says I only got orange, yellow and red ones so now we're in the market for blue
Edit: more natural vs a reactor and probably more sustainable long term
BTW the ecochic lights are supposedly very good.@00W I have 2 of the tunze ecochic refugium lights and a kessil h80, do you think a refugium would be a more natural way to uptake phosphates? Were you wearing scarlet and grey? Perhaps he is a Notre Dame fan.Am I being petty or over sensitive? I stopped by the LFS to look at goldfish but the ones they have are sick and not for sale right now. Anyway the owner was talking to two other ladies and when he finished talking to them he totally ignored me and walked of didn't say hi how are you today or anything. I was going to get a couple of plants but that just really rubbed me the wrong way. There is no way he didn't see me because he seen me walk into the fish room and I walked right by them to look to see if they had any new saltwater creatures. He's the only store local so I'm stuck either driving an hour or ordering online if I don't shop there. It's sad because I have spent a lot of money over the years there and I do prefer to shop local but today has me second guessing going there.
Same in OregonNo salt in Idaho.
Just sand.
