If you enter the monthly Supporter Giveaway you'll end up winning at least 1 a year almost guaranteed.
I've won 1 single thing in my entire life and that was a local raffle and I won a bucket of instant ocean and a simplicity 3x2L dosing container!

Seems like this would work well. I just wonder how much room the corner cutouts leave sitting on a rimmed tank..
They make portholes for feeding. Could 3D print smaller ones just for the wires? https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/screen-top-feeding-portal-neat-aquatics.html

I think I'm going to try to order a screen mesh lid from LiveAquaria if I win another gift card anytime soon and if they get them back in stock. Also I'll likely grab a finer filter sock to help with the fine particulates.
Tim your tank is AWESOME!

Save yourself money and buy a window screening kit from Home Depot/Menard/lowes.

I bought the kit from BRS and then went to Home Depot and got a window screening kit kit for half.

Why do some use screen instead of glass?

Need advice, I have pineapple sponges in my sump. I decided to leave them be. But they exploded in population and I found a few in the overflow so I know they should be in the DT , But have not found any. My plan is pull my sump this weekend and clean it. what would you do.

Personally I'd leave them. They'll run their course and eventually go away. Pineapple sponges are good filter feeders and will populate the tank during the startup cycles.

Better to shut off my lights for the day to acclimate these new fish(currently on blues) or leave them on for corals? I only have 2 other fish (clowns) and some shrimp and it's daytime anyway..
Up to you. I rarely turn off lights for fish or coral additions. But I don't usually do things the accepted way.

I would leave also, harmless filter feeders that eventually disappear on their own.

Here's what's left of my lunch... I had to go to the post office to send a package to my friend so I had to grab something fast.
