I wanted another reef tank but didn’t have a hole bunch of room so I decided to do a nano build. I followed inappropriate reefers nano build on youtube for my build. Before I got my supplies I had to get a stand. I decided I wanted to make the stand because it would be cheaper and would only take a day for it to be finished.
I went and got all my supplies from amazon or petco and had some other aquarium supplies around the house.
•Aqua knight A030 light
•Fluval Aqua Clear 50
•25 watt heater
•10 pounds of live sand
•and all sorts of media/etc.
I made and over flow for the tank so it would skim the surface and the Aqua Clear filter wouldn’t suck up sand of other things off the bottom. Also it looks much better this way. Here the thread to show you how I made it.
Last night I bought 14 pounds of live rock and 10 gallons of Fritz saltwater and put it all together was still cloudy when I took a picture after I was done though.
Many updates soon to come so be sure to follow along.
