Finally, I found a 120g for a used price $200.
She’s the ugliest most beautiful thing I have ever laid eyes on. I’m going to strip the two overflows, add a ghost overflow and oh so much more to get this one wet again. I decided to put my money towards reputable equipment, instead of the glass box. (Good timing considering frameless tanks are losing fashion, dang you Red Sea.)
My previous tank was a cadlight 60g and just a frameless beauty. That tank grew coral but limped by with basic equipment. (Lighting,Powerheads, manually dosing) Time to flourish and establish a low maintenance 120g for this reefer.

No pics to report but things are hangin in there. I’m trying to get every tank on auto pilot as I return to the workforce. The low boys are breaking in now, I hit a speed bump with those. I let a reactor sit stagnant for a few days and when I turned it on, bacteria in a slimy thick form covered the surfaces. All gone now thanks to the skimmer and a couple weeks of patience. the main display is having a nutrient swing because I haven’t been around to maintain the filtration and feedings. The mini aio needs decommissioned. The timer controlling the light failed, the levels of alk and cal are dropping too fast for weekly water changes. We’re at a bumpy part of the ride but im sure this too will pass and we will persevere in time.

Noopsyche light shade inbound!
these lights are blinding, so shades were imminent. I’ve seen Lee’s shades from 3D Aquarium Solutions and had to have a set. These fit like a glove!

thick enough to give it a solid feel in the hand, no bowing.

Sweet design, it even makes the vents look sleek.
