Still my favorite tank on here I think. How’s the powder blue doing? Once I get my cube up and running I hope to add a small one to it

Thanks! The powder blue is doing great. He’s a pig and definitely the boss of the tank. We call him “the Admiral”. With a cube tank, just make sure that you leave enough room behind your rocks for the powder blue to swim behind. Mine loves swimming laps around the rock structure

Hey hope you find this message. Love the pics. Looks like you are running a older Geos reactor. I recently came up on one also . From pics looks like you are running the DOS to feed reactor. How long have you been running this. I thought about doing this also. Just want your feedback on that.
Thanks

The DOS is actually being used to feed my Kalk stirrer and has been for a couple years now. I had started out using an ecotech versa and had nothing but problems but then switched to the DOS and have been very happy it. I think it is very important to have a lot of control when dosing kalk which the DOS offers through apex. But be warned, the DOS is loud. I have it in my garage, so it doesn't really bother me, but if you listen closely, you can hear it through the wall.

The pump that is feeding the calcium reactor is actually a kamoer FX-STP pump. This thing is a work horse and I think it is perfect for feeding a calcium reactor. The reason that I didn't use the DOS to feed the CaRX is that the DOS feeds intermittently so you don't get a steady input which would probably make it tough to get a stable ph
