Yes, African Grey. they are know to be the best takers of all the parrots and can live 40 to 50 years in captivity, sometimes longer. That’s a life long commitment! So don’t get a young one if you’re already middle aged :face-with-tears-of-joy: They have a mentality of a 3-4 year old and become bored and can develop behavioral problems if you don’t interact with them daily.
That is what I read in my quick research. I found reports of even 70 years of age in captivity, so I know it is a serious commitment. I also would not have the time to spend with it that it would need, so I'm keeping my attentions on my aquariums instead.
My dogs already miss me enough; they don't need a parrot in competition for attention.

We have another cold rainy night out so stayed inside watched the brs giveaways and getting ready for the saltwateraquarium.com giveaways. I know I have such an exciting life. Let's hope I don't have to pee soon.

Those ugg slippers are the best thing I ever bought myself. Expensive but so with it. And the dogs are nice too.

Think I’m caught up on most threads I think.

Highly recommend the Atlanta,Georgia Aquarium if you’re ever in the area. We did the behind the scenes tour also. It was amazing!
