DAILY QUESTION: How important is dimming control for your reef tank lighting setup?

Ramping the lights is important to me. My lights ramp up rapidly in the morning and then slowly dim into a blue spectrum at night for more of my enjoyment. Allows the corals to get a healthy full spectrum during the day, then looks for night

I also use the cloud feature and luna feature. So yeah dimming controls are amazing feature to have

Not having controllable lights.

This can go one of 2 ways, spectrum for your liking and spectrum for optimal coral health

Wouldn't change anything, I love my orphek natura icons. The only thing I'd like to eventually add is some OR4 bars for some filler light

Sps mostly, with some chalice, hammers, gonis. Most softies don't do well because of the angels and higher flow

In person, I'm a bit of a sucker for the forest fire and bubblegum digi. As for myself my Monti cap looks super vibrant since switching to 2part traces and orphek lighting

DAILY QUESTION: What’s the best coral growth success story you’ve had?

Due to me being in the second attempt at a reef tank, so far my success story is seeing positive growth in a very short time. my goni's and zoa's have shown growth and overall all my corals appear happy. This alone is a success story over my first attempt back in the early 90's at a reef tank.
