hey folks i had saltwater tank about5 years ago ended up moving an broke everything down. now 5 years later i’m back at it n would like to share with what i’ve been working on. so i ended up building my own stand (still not complete need to put some crown molding at the top still designing) bought n used 75 g drilled , then ordered myself a life reef sump skimmer n refuge, still have 2 ai vegas from my old set up but my controller wentgonna stuck with these till i feel like upgrading ordered the light mounts didn’t realize that i just order the back pc not the arm that hangs over the tank kinda got tricked but w.e i didn’t read the Little tiny print (lights tend to be pricey so these are fine for now i think ) also i saved a mp40 from my old tank , bought 75 lbs of dry rock to scape the tank n also n nice frag tree. i use 100lbs of live sand , to cycle my tank i used turbo start 900 . the tanks been running for 2 weeks n just put the turbo start in on last thursday night didn’t realize i had to feed the bacteria so i guess i wasted my money on that kinda jumped the gun n ordered a pair of clown fish they come in tuesday but they ended up Doa fedex messed up and sent it to the wrong place first was supposed to be overnight delivery ended up taking two days , that mad me very sad to c , but since fedex messed up the place where i ordered it from gonna send me a new pair . if that wasn’t bad enough bought a refuge starter pack from algae barn that i received-yesterday and The bottle of copods Ended up not being sealed good n leaked 3/4 of the bottle out. so this is going to be a reef tank when should i start doseing ? is it too early ? bought 3 chomis yesterday was tired of looking at n tank with no fish in it my ammonia and nitrate or zero does that mean I’m cycled ? How long do you think I should wait before I add an anemone ? i’ll add some pictures Let me know what you guys think

Don't rush things. You have a test kit, test and re-test for a few days. Fluctuations happen over days not hours. Make sure your tank can process ammonia to 0 or close to it before adding fish. Try Bio-Spira if you want to kick start. I will say, interesting aquascape ;)

Good luck.
