75 gallon Lps/Sps mix tank

I'm happy the storage area where my ato is also doubles as a bench. I love looking down my tank and seeing how clear it is on the other side also I'm trying something new with my powerhead placement. I'm also trying to figure out how to post a video of the light switches for my under cabinet lighting. Open the door light turns on close the door light turns off. It's awesome!!

Finally got a good picture on my green slimmer lights are turning off

I also couldn't figure a video for my unsercabinet lighting but got pictures of my setup. One with the lights off. Wire management is to come next

Got some good pictures of some of my corals testing out the pro mode on my s7. Got a really nice picture of my green slimmer.

Got 8 new corals on Sunday. 6 sps and 2 lps. I will post pictures of them all tomorrow but I'll leave a picture of my new space invader coral, a couple new sps corals (monti cap and red chili pepper i believe) along with my green slimer and acans under blue lights

Took a bunch of pictures of all my corals tonight. All the corals before the green slimer are my new ones the rest are either growth pictures or "action shots" of the rest of my corals.

My girlfriend sent me a cool picture angle of my tank on snap chat so I decided to try and recreate

Also an update on the tank it's doing great in my eyes could be better. Nitrates are at 4 ppm and my green and red favia is slowly dying and at the same time my blue polyp sps has started to look funky the past 3 or 4 days. Other than that everything looks great. Feed all the corals early this morning, first time I actually have ever seen my blasto consuming anything so that was exciting to see

Decided to give an update. I haven't checked parameter in a few days because I've been busy with my son being born on Monday. I picked up a mandarin like a week ago and he's doing great and I also got some cool pictures of my space invader with it's long sweeper tentacles out

I'll try and get a better picture of the mandarin because he's a cool looking fish. Probably not anytime soon though

Current parameters. The 4 I'm currently concerned about
Cal 445 ppm
Alk 9.5 dkh
Nitrate 4 ppm
Phosphate 0 ppm

I also switched out my skimmer to a smaller one. It is a rlss r51 and it working fantastic. Very happy with it and I love the dc motor in it. Way easier to dial in than my skimz by a long shot.

Well it's been a year since I started this built thread and figured it's a great time to update. This tank has been up and running great for a year and a half now. It's had it's up and down one of the biggest being the filter socks clogging and flooding my upstairs. After the fourth time (it was the worst time) it was time to ditch the socks for good. When it flooded this time it went through my flooring and landed on my couch below. It also threw the salinity but luckily the ato didnt have much water in it. I only lost 3 corals during that whole swing, one came back from literally nothing and the other two were on their way put long before the swing. Got everything back on track and it's doing great. Recent additions to the tank include a large hammer coral, a new torch coral, a birdnest, and a kole eye tang. Right before my last post I lost my purple tang to velvet then slightly after lost my mandarin (literally never saw it again), after that I got a starfish and dwarf flame angel. Something attacked the starfish and killed it and I had the flame angel for a few months before it got sick out no where with a disease only angels can get and died the day I found out it was sick. Got the torch coral, birdnest and an orange spot blenny that somehow vanished in my tank a week later (What is the deal with these fish). Got the yellow kole eye tang and itgs doing great(finally) other than that here's some pictures in order of this update plus what it looks like now and in all blues
