Cool! Hope it was an enjoyable trip. Seems like you missed the good ol' octopodes, horned sharks, and sea hares. But the anemones are really stunners in the right lighting. Next time I guess...

I will say SoCal tide pools have really declined in the past 15 years. There used to be sea hares everywhere, loads of urchins and sea stars, octopodes on every other trip, sand crabs on nearly every beach, etc. Now you will be lucky to see half of those.

You live in Hong Kong right? I’m not too far from you. HK, Canton and Taiwan are just outside the Coral Triangle.
If you’re asking me, yes I am. We’ve got some ok snorkeling places here. Lots of corals and reef fish. Although not as beautiful as Indo, Philippines, etc.

That would be fun! I've thought about it, but livestock for temperate tanks seems harder to come by.
