Ok yeah with 48x30 I agree. It appeared to be a 30x30 or 36x36. If it were one of those I'd stand behind a single being enough. Especially since the 3 viewing sides won't have coral near them.

How did you guys get these lights to work? I can’t get the schedule to start working on the app. I can only get the light to work if I manually push the color sliders. It’s not adhering to a time or spectrum schedule.

Have not got one yet but read through the threads here about setting the time up. Not this thread, others

First is to figure out the correct timezone for your area. Easier way to get that is message the seller direct. Tell him what time it is locally when you do and ask for the corresponding time for the app.

Then I used the ab schedule and modified it to my preference.

Are you able to connect to the lights through wifi ?

I'm in Texas, at around 1030 pm here I set it to the zone in the picture. I'd assume you would be 1hr ahead of me.

Thanks for the reply. I'm in eastern time zone in NJ. What do you think that I need to set it to?
Check this out it may help. I think if you Google your current timezone compared to the utc time and then compare it to that you can figure it out.

Try this link
You will need to change city obviously but compare this to the China utc and see if you can figure it out.

Eastern standard time must be set to -4:00 for it work at the correct times. Got it working. I have xr-30s over my frag tank so I’ll give a good comparison with par #’s

Well so far I’m impressed. Par numbers running ab+ 100% is the same as what my xr-30s put out. Seeing 350 par 8”
Down from water surface with light mounted 12” above water surface. Spectrum looks good as well. I need to put them side by side for comparison.

This is my 25g QT tank.

No Hotspot on mine, now I do run them higher off the water then most people will, approximately 14 inches. I also have the blues and purple hitting 90% for about 9hrs a day, red 25%, white and green 35% for 6hrs a day with ramping up and down for a full schedule of 13hrs a day.

Spread is quite good. I can see the shadow cast on the back glass from my euro bracing. The shadow is about 5 inches down from the top. 4 lights cover my 8x3x2ft display its 8 long 3 front to back and 2 tall.

I'm using the 2 6ft blue/uv bars as I already had them and since I'm 99% sps the more light the better.

I've got a second 8x3x2ft display that I will be buying more for as well as planning to set up a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 cube for my daughter that I'll use these on as well.

If I didn't already have the ebay reef bars from populargrow on my frag qt tanks and fish qt tanks I'd probably get these for them as well.

It’s on a 25g tank and completely fills the tank with light. Even par in the whole tank. If I’m still running this light in 6 months without issues I won’t be purchasing anymore radions.

No I've not had a single issue once I set my program
Are you sure you have the correct timezone chosen? I had the issue with lights not coming on at first. I updated the app and lights a couple times, and then figured out the right timezone. Since then no issues.

I think so, it worked properly for the first week. It’s set to -4:00utc. I’ll try resetting it and starting over.
