I'm new, I did some research but clearly not enough. I wanted to add my very first coral and fish to my tank so I picked an anemone and a clownfish.

I didn't care what type of Anemone that it was because I figured they were all the same and since the guy I bought it from just manhandled the Anemone barehanded I figured I shouldn't be too worried about toxins.

After 4 hours of adding the Anemone and fish to my tank, im starting to have a weird taste in my mouth with some bad acid reflux and now Im starting to get the runs.

I'm worried about the Anemone I got ended up releasing a toxin into my tank and in the air. The clownfish seem fine however I am worried I won't be.

After an hour trying to find the Anemone I got, turns out it's a Blue Tip Sebae Anemone and that it has two different toxins and I'm begining to think/feel some of those symptoms.

I just wanna know because I couldnt find anything about sea anemone's having airborne toxins or maybe I didnt wash my hands good enough after adding him to the tank.

Anemones don't produce airborne toxins. Your symptoms sounds like a food born illness. It's possible to have a contact reaction to the anemone but a systemic illness is unlikely.
Seek professional medical help if feel It's appropriate.
Norovirus making the rounds right now and it's highly contagious.

@Thiggbiggus

How are you feeling now?
I think it was the Goniopora, I dropped him face first in the sand twice by accident as the glue and apoxy wasnt holding him in place at first.

The Goniopora toxin matched my symptoms, im feeling a lot better now but that was a crazy night of just stiff muscles, stiff back and being glued to the toilet chugging water making sure I wasnt dehyrdrated.

I was wearing gloves but some water mustve splashed into my nearby glass of water that was behind me so when I took a sip when I was done I must've injested something from the tank.

none of the stuff you got was toxic unless you like ate them maybe. You were sick for another reason but am glad you are feeling better
I think I accidentally drank some tank water and some of that "natural bacteria" was just fighting me. Not leaving my drinking glasses nearby anymore lol

While it’s true drinking seawater can cause sickness from the bacteria, you’d probably know you drank it because the water would taste very salty.

I think it’s very unlikely to accidentally drink enough tank water to cause sickness.
