ThanksThe post in question is about reagent preparation for installation or replacement when empty. It is not a daily task. One time upon installation or replacement.

So, if I understand well, reducing as much as possible the sampling tube length will then reduce the bio film effect and improve the po4 measures. Not?
At the end those testers don't do magic, if the reagents are correct and the sample its not altered they have to work. Just as an automated Salifert test. I can not imagin Neptune Systems with all its big name selling a non tested product. But for sure its a new product and they have to send thousands of reagents sets with probably a new provider(as for sure they do not do their own reagent) and seeing the color differences from the reagents that people post it may be the issue. I am positive and I bet that they will solve itI keep reading these threads hoping to hear that everything is fixed and all is good again.
I'm waiting for the Maven to come out and hear how that goes for a couple months. Debating to myself if it's worth a major shift or not.
And how is it working? My third NP got delivered today, not expecting much but we’ll see
The line as you are aware is a sample line - drawing water in from the source location to the test chamber. Are you suggesting that it is either contaminating the sample or that it isn't allowing proper water sample size and thus throwing off the tes
poor accuracy overall not happy. The promise of something easy and less effort got me spending thousands with apex but it has been far from it. Many issues. But in particular to trident np Hanna reads .08 but trident np always stay at .02 sometimes goes lower. But I know it's not accurate because an accurate tester or in a reef tank the values will change depending on feeding and husbandry and the trident doesn't reflect that. The Hanna does. Neither does Icp. Test. So you're telling me to keep spending 60 something on reagents that will give me inaccurate results what a money grab. Over apex Neptune in my experience has not made reefing easier just more complicated and expensive as the solution to most of my problems has been to get new things. Smh. Old school low tech seems more appealing. It has its place just not as something to be an advertised as making reef in easier. Don't believe just do a search on all the ppl that have issues with Neptune apex system equipment. Tons of stuff. So where is the easy part.Has anyone else here gotten the new Trident NP and what kind of accuracy are you seeing from the device? Currently I have a few of these running and the readings are totally inconsistent, all over the place, and not at all near the actual readings I’m getting on other test kits. I’ve tried using the unit without calibrating and after calibrating and have issues both ways. Let me know if anyone else had this issue and how they may or may not have fixed it.
