After 6 years away from reef tank i am back !!

Tank update.
Maybe I should start dosing now ?

Wife has given me the greenlight. If I can keep this tank going till the end of the year with everything grown in. I'll be buying the red sea g2 300.

Tank is only 6months old and it's growing coraline algae. I have seeded it with my clean up crew which had some on their shells and maybe 1 or 2 frag plugs. Now there is purple spots on the rocks, frag racks and glass.

What are your parameters? The only thing I dose in my tank is AFR just to help with low alk or calcium.

I got my henna checkers coming in, so I can measure the alk, Phosphate. I think it would be pretty stable atm because I currently do 20-30% waterchange weekly and also I was thinking about just dosing AFR aswell. Heard very good things about the product. How much you dosing for your tank?

I have a 20g; I dose maybe 3ml every couple of days just as a maintenance dose for my tank.

Yeah I was thinking maybe setting up a doser, which does 1ml every 12hrs. Then slowly up it after testing for a few weeks.

Phosphate 0.30 very high !!!
Nirate 10ppm

I am due for a waterchange now, doing 30% and see where my parameters are ar after.

It is a bit crowded but doser coming tomorrow, and tank upgrade coming start of next year.
