I’m curious how I should think about ordering a frag grown under “halide” when I run Radion’s? Is it trauma on the coral? Expect color shift? What’s the skinny on switching lighting? Light is light right (said with more than an ounce of sarcasm)?
Any issues buying a halide grown frag when I have LED’s

I run halide/t5 and would imagine 90% of my stock has come from led lit systems. I know that's in reverse of what your wondering but I think in reality it's the same. I'm sure one could have different intensities while being relatively close to the same par but i think with proper acclimation it wont be a problem. Running over 600 at the top of the system I tend to baby new arrivals regardless.
Now that I think about it my lfs sells my frags and keeps them under led with no complaints. I don't think he get as much growth but he's in the business of flipping not hoarding.

I get asked this pretty often actually and I definitely understand the concern. In my experience, moving frags around my own system between different lighting I can't say I've ever really had or seen any major quirks at all. And I do move stuff around. a lot. frags are remarkably resilient in this regard.
Having said that, 90% of my mounted and ready to ship frags are kept under led. So there's a very and I mean Very good chance that whatever you are looking for I've got under leds.

On another note, as a salesperson myself I'm always interested in how I make my own decisions. I've been trolling through your old IG posts trying to find something I remember seeing long ago and realized I was really drawn to several posts you did with stuff ready to ship in the bag (like the Age of Fire from March of 23', which is currently only listed as available under halide on the site). I had skipped over the listing on your site MANY times, just didn't really grab me, but that IG post!!! Whew, went right on my list...................

Hi there hey thanks for the feedback man. Yeah I never know about stuff like that and will be the first to admit that social media is not my strongest area. \
But I need information like this for sure because those are really easy to do. Especially for stuff it's not on the site it's a good glimpse into some of those pieces that I haven't yet showcased yet.
