What size tank does this look like? The seller is saying it is a 250Gallon or could it have been a typo and it’s a 150gallon? It’s a family friend and I’m just curious, with pumps (idk if he meant pump or sump) and everything he is trying to sell it for $300 what is yalls input?

Said the tank size is 6’ by 2’, didn’t state height.

Looks like a standard Aqueon 125 gallon to me as well (72"x18"x23"). It is definitely an Aqueon with those overflows and trim. Could be a 210 (72"x24"x30") but the depth appears to be only 18" to me. I don't think Aqueon ever made a 250 gal.

Yes, it looks like a good deal to me regardless of the exact size. It's big enough to have some of the open water fish like some tangs and some angels and butterflies.

Although for a 6' tank if it's only 18" deep that can be a challenge to aquascape but with some creativity can certainly be done in an esthetically pleasing way. I wouldn't hesitate.

It has a decent sized chip (actually two?) in the side from the looks of it.

I’d proceed with caution as the tank may have seen some rough handling. Inspect closely.

Like other have said My first impression was a 125. But if its 6' long and 2' front to back its probably a 180. It does look taller than 2' though if it is 2' front to back and 30" tall its a 210.

L x W x H in inches divided by 231 will give you gallons.

Well assuming the 6' measurement is correct that makes the tiles in the floor 18"... which means the 2' dimension was height because if the tile is 18" then the width per the side view is 18. 6x1.5x2 is 18cf of water at roughly 7.5 gallons per cf makes it a 135. Thats rough without having exact dimensions.. still a good price if undamaged. If it has chips, i would pass personally.

Good catch, I did not notice those.
