I know reef walls are old school, but I do like the ability to hide cords and pumps behind the wall. Plus, they are a natural feature of some reefs. And most importantly, I am old school. Shot with my old school D90

A shot from one of the short sides of my tank. The tank is 120cm long so this image is 120cm deep.

Shot on:
Sony A7 Mark1
Sony 28-70mm KitLens
ISO 160
70mm
F5.6
1/50sec

Great shot. There is so much going on there. Feels like a natural reef!

I tried to read the directions so I don’t understand if they can be older photos taken before this month so forgive me for my ignorance. I took this photo of my clownfish that I’ve now had since 2012 and the reason it stands out to me is because of the depth of feel for the pavona coral in the background and also his eye reminds me of the clownfish eggs from finding Nemo

As far as I understand it, there is no limitation to when the photo was taken, only requirement is that it was taken by you, in your own tank.

Beautiful shot btw, love that red eye.
