Levels finally showing almost
Non existent ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, so felt comfortable to add my 1st livestock. Picked up a pair of mocha clowns.

A bit small for my tank but will give it a few days before I look to add anymore. Possibly one more fish and a few snails or hermit crabs.

You are a heck of a lot more patient then me man lol I did Dr.Tims and two clowns same day
How’s your clowns doing? I hope good. Did you have any feeding problem? I’ve only fed them once so far, and they didn’t pay it much attention. Mysis is what my LFS said to feed them.

Anyways…

It’s not been easy taking it this slow. You don't know how bad I want to turn on my lights and see these guys under the lights. A few more weeks though. But trying to reduce my ugly stage as much as possible.

My goal is to be ready for corals by the time the Orlando reef-a-palooza comes to town in April

They are doing fine man, I have always had 75+ gallons tank and used this approach so nothing new for me or the hobby really. Don’t fret about the clowns give them 2-3 days and they eat. Try pellets and use a turkey baster
