you should inform you , they are not the same, leonardo use the tropic marin with a&k, there is no reason why it should not be enough as you can adjust the dosis

You can't just adjust the dosage. As I said, they have different compnenets and are not meant to do the same thing.

Youv’e got loads of options. You’ve got all the European stuff, some Australian and American stuff. And U.K. stuff of corse. Pretty spoilt.
So it’s down to preference and availability.

Personally;
For convenience.
Zelements pH plus. Two part, ready mixed and great U.K. produced product with support from the team via FB and UR etc and the matching ICP etc. Downside is all the cool kids are on it too.
For cost effectiveness.
Bulk salts from APC or equivalent topping up the demand off the Kalk doing the lifting. You can supplement this with Fauna Traces, Tropic Marin A&K.

I’ve done both, I also ran the way you run currently with AFR and Kalk. Using two single part dosing solutions leaves little room for flexibility. Which is why I moved back to one of the above. My choice is for the Zlements because my system is fairly small at 200~Litres so despite being rammed it’s not cost inhibiting for me and genuinely the support from Jose is worth supporting by buying the product. That coupled with Bungalow family life means that I don’t want kilos of bulk powders in my cupboards which you need to get the cost benefit ratio in order. If I need a bit of BiCarb to top up the Alk there’s a Sainsbury’s round the corner…

My current setup is TM 3-part with A&K Elements used at much lower than recommended. I also add every morning a slurry made of a flat teaspoon of kalkwasser in about 100ml near the return pump. Some of it forms calcium carbonate snow and some of it increase the alkalinity and the pH and it also reduces the phosphate
