I was looking at some pipefish at my lfs the other day and got curious they are interesting little fish amd was thinking of keeping a pair first off what is the minimum tank size for a pair of pipe fish? And other than possibly eating only love food at first is there any special requirments for them?

IIRC, the minimum tank size for banded pipes is about 50g. They're fairly strong swimmers as far as pipefish go, but the only difficult thing is feeding. They'll usually only feed on pods and live baby brine when introduced into the tank, but some people have been successful in getting them to eat frozen preparations like Cyclopeeze and Mysis.
