This may be one of, if not the nicest looking Spaths I've got. We all know Spaths can be tough. Most come in mind numbingly colorful but fail to really acclimate and thrive, and eventually crash.

In fact wild Spaths are the low hanging fruit of wild sps. Extremely hard to resist, but more than often, don't do well. Here's a spiel I did on a couple nice ones I had years ago I tried to sell as whole colonies.

AUSSIE SPATHS KIND OF SUCK

Anyway, It's always a treat when they do beat the odds and live long term though, because the color can come back even more impressively. Hot heaven is one of those case!

Finally got a decent pic of this guy and it just looks amazing!

Gorgeous fluffy pink ! Looks like underwater cotton candy. Possibly a very distant cousin to this Goni of mine :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Purchase link? :)

Heard the other day that spaths got consolidated under Millepora. Thicker branch considered to be related to environment.

Figuring out the why: Has your primary reason(s) for keeping a saltwater aquarium changed over time?
