brown hair algae, I think, slightly lazy cleaning the glass, now has air bubbles?

This stuff is growing more and more, I've had to blow it off a few things, it even is on my tuxedo urchin.

But these air bubbles are very new and I've not seen this before. Thoughts? I can take a non-macro photo too if people think it will help. THx!

Hard to say what this is. There are micro algae like diatoms and dinoflagellates that can form thread like fibers. The bubbles could be oxygen bubbles.

Best for these is to suck some up off the glass and put it under a microscope. Is it filamentous like a fiber? Are they bunched up individual cells in an almond shape? Are they individual cells that look like glass shards or glass baubles? Lots of things these could be.
