my hobby, been at it for a few years. I work in auto manufacturing maintenance. But love building with wood.Sweet workshop, man.. wish I had access to something like that. And the knowledge to use it all that is lol
wish I could pass them on, have passed the skills of fly fishing on. Takes trial and error, plus a place to do it. Will complain that the CNC routers are taking the traditional wood working out. I use traditional mortise and Tennon joinery for my projects.Your build looks awesome.. too bad I'm up north otherwise I would trade a bunch of rock I got for access to your shop, and being a 2nd set of hands on your projects to pick up some new skills.
Looking forward to the progression on this one!
There will always be a market for traditional woodworking though, especially as time goes on and less and less people are doing it. Learning a skill like that, handed down from one person to the next, you can't put any price on that. My trade is land surveying, and I've taught several people over the years, but the product isn't as tangible as something like woodworking.wish I could pass them on, have passed the skills of fly fishing on. Looks awesome man. I need to make something like that for the side of my stand too.Finished the controller board, its turned out ok. It is removeable and upgradable. There is room for power brick storage as needed. No Apex or Hydros planned for the 40B build. Plenty of room for temp, LED light, wave maker, and fuge light timer controllers.
its rough, but will be better soonLooking good man, I like the cable management.
I like your cube at the start of your tank build, Wife wants a nem tank. so that's nestLooking good man, I like the cable management.
It's nice though, to have the path already set with those brackets. Makes routing so much easier. Mine is a controlled mess lol.its rough, but will be better soon
Thanks! Yeah for me and my space, this was a great fit. If anything, I would suggest doing a 3' square footprint, and only 18" - 20" high. That would be ideal.I like your cube at the start of your tank build, Wife wants a nem tank. so that's nest
no, This is basically made to run outdoor lighting, but its great for $15 timer for my fugeNice are those 2 outlets able to be controlled separately? 2 different schedules?
Yeah, for that much I guess it would be unrealistic to control both outlets. Nice looking box tho.no, This is basically made to run outdoor lighting, but its great for $15 timer for my fuge
edit: wish they were separate for $15
BN-LINK makes all kinds of timers (amazon) I picked this one up because a friend of mine uses one to run his outdoor lighting. They are durable and low cost, easy to program also.Yeah, for that much I guess it would be unrealistic to control both outlets. Nice looking box tho.
