Supposedly, button Scolies are Micromussa pacifica (described 2016), but the western Australian population hasn't really been studied, so there is still some uncertainty as to what button Scolies actually are.
Buttons scolys don’t have trade names like torches and zoa
They aren’t “reproducible”. They are wild caught and random. Trade names are so if something is seen, it’s recognizable, and others can go shopping for it.
You can’t do that with button scoly. Any trade name is made up by the vendor
